this guide explains how to connect sage hr using a magic link prerequisites ensure you're an admin or have admin access to a sage hr account step 1 open the magic link provided a pop up window will appear click on allow and continue step 2 the system will ask for the sage hr subdomain visit the sage hr website and click on the url tab copy the part of the url before " sagehr " and after " https // " paste this into the url subdomain prompt and click on connect step 3 the system will then ask for an api key to get that, go to the sagehr website and navigate to your profile icon and click on settings step 4 proceed to the integrations section and select api step 5 click on enable api access this action will generate an api key step 6 copy the api key and paste it into the api key prompt click on connect the connection to sage hr is now successfully established
