What do connector statuses mean?
Updated 5 days ago
A connector has two separate statuses: its link status says whether the connection to your customer's system works, and its sync status says how the most recent sync went. Each model inside a sync also has its own status.
Link status
API value | Dashboard | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Active | The connection is authorized and working | Nothing |
| Incomplete | The connector exists, but your customer hasn't finished authorizing it | Send the Magic Link again, or a new one if it has expired |
| Relink Needed | Your customer's credentials stopped working and syncing has stopped | Relink the connector. See "How do I fix a connector that shows 'Relink Needed'?" |
The counters above the list on the Connectors tab total how many connectors are in each state.
Sync status
API | Dashboard | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| A percentage, such as 41% | A sync is running |
| Synced | Every model in scope loaded |
(no API value) | Partial | Some models loaded and others failed. |
| Failed | The sync failed |
A Failed sync doesn't mean the connection is broken. The credentials can be fine while one run fails, and the next scheduled sync tries again. Only Relink Needed means your customer has to act. A connector can be COMPLETE with its last sync Failed.
Model status
Open a sync on the connector's Sync tab to see each model:
Model status | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
Synced | The model loaded | Nothing |
Pending | Waiting for other models in the same sync | Wait for the sync to finish |
Skipped | The model is switched off in your scope settings | Turn it on in scoping and resync |
Not Supported | We don't unify this model for this integration yet | Ask us to prioritize it |
Failed | The model was requested and returned an error | Expand the row to read the error |
