Where is my data stored?
Updated 5 days ago
We store your data in one of two AWS regions: US East (Ohio) for US deployments, or Europe (Frankfurt) for EU deployments. Data is stored and processed only inside the region your organization is deployed in, and it is never copied across regions.
Our regions
Deployment | AWS region | API base URL |
|---|---|---|
US | US East (Ohio), |
|
EU | Europe (Frankfurt), |
|
Call the API base URL that matches your deployment. The US URL is the default, so EU organizations set the EU URL in their API client and in the Embedded SDK serverUrl option.
If your organization requires data residency in a different geography, please contact [email protected]. We can provision a dedicated regional instance to meet your data residency and compliance requirements.
Availability and failover
Each region runs across at least two AWS Availability Zones. If the primary zone fails, traffic fails over automatically to a secondary zone in the same region. Failover never moves your data to another region, so your residency commitments hold during an outage.
